Parish, here are the details of some of them :-
Arise (Activity Recreation Inspiration
Service Education) - Part of Christian
Council on Ageing for groups of people over the age of 50
years who mean to go on living...
Review: Arise is in its fourth year and activities
include Speakers, day trips and two retreats a year taken at
Easter and Advent.
Cassettes for Housebound - To facilitate 20 copies
of the taped weekly Mass for the sick and housebound of the
parish.
Review: To ensure availability of tapes for the
Eucharistic Ministers to take with them after 9:30am Mass each
Sunday.
Pilch Lane & District Credit Union - Banking
Facilities. Low cost loans and savings.
Review: Expansion of facilities to non-church premises
making it more accessible to the general community.
Councelling & Listening - To provide counselling
for anyone who needs it within the Parish.
Review: This group is now into its second year and
continues to lend assistance to anyone requiring councilling
within our community.
Knee High Club - To provide pre-nursery facilities
for 0-4 year olds. To assist mothers/carers to actively
participate in managing and decision making.
R.C.I.A (Roman Catholic Initiation for Adults)
- To act as a point of enquiry for anyone who is
interested in exploring the Catholic faith more fully and to
be a means by which those who choose may, at the proper time,
enter fully into the Catholic Church.
