Youth PLC News
About 20 of us are going to Cologne, Germany, for World Youth Day so on Wednesday night we had a bit of chat about that. All the group will be taking part in funding so we'll have to get working on that. But before all that we have Ireland to sort out and Abersoch, so a busy summer ahead of us.

7UP PLC

Some of our girls joined in with a game of cricket this week. I don't think we'll ever make a good coverage for TV though. The lads, well, yes you've guessed, they played football.

HARRY POTTER CLUB

We now have 50 members on our books but thankfully we don't usually have them all each week. Some of our members have very vivid imaginations and are good at making up players with drawings they have done. Anyone who will be moving up to Yr.3 will be able to join in September. If you would like to pass your name and phone number into the Parish Office, I'll get in touch with you throughout the Summer.

It's Our Church Too !

”So Jesus called the children to him and said, ‘Let the children come to me and don’t stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly, I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it.’ ” Luke 18:16-17

God tells us we are so important to the future of this world. Don't underestimate our importance to God and God's importance to us. It's up to our generation to make a difference and live up to the potential God has for each one of us. We are so special to him and his love for us is unconditional. But unfortunately after all he has done for us; we take his love and our lives for granted. Lets not take our lives for granted by not opening our eyes? We need to see the truth even if it hurts. Do we want to know the truth? If we do then why don't we look to God for more answers? The Gospel says ask and you shall receive; knock and the door shall be opened. Then lets ask these questions to God and see what happens. If we really ask ourselves these questions then we would get some answers to our lives! I think it must come in everyone's life when we look around us and say "there must be more to my life". You don't know who made you, then how do you know your true self? We must be strong and wise because of today's propaganda and idols as a distraction to what really matters. I know some of you will not pay any attention to this article, but for the ones (as Jesus said) who have ears, all the answers to every question are in the Gospel. Lets turn over the page from today's youth into tomorrow's faith. Over to you...... God bless.

Adam's Film Review : Shark Tale

A little fish known as Oscar (voice of Will Smith) likes to dream big but one day he tells a great big lie that turns him into an accidental hero. The fast-talking Oscar convinces his fellow sharks that his story is genuine. It all goes well for him until one day his tale about being the defender of the Reef is revealed to be false. Oscar now has to tread the water to avoid becoming captured and becoming the "Catch of The Day". Other voices in this star studded production include Renee Zellweger, Robert De Niro and Jack Black. Shark Tale is a great film ideal for kids of all ages during half term and is in all good cinemas now!
